A reading/performance in Icelandic, English and German with a group of Icelandic poets and artists

Join us the vultures on a cultural rupture through sculptural words
mostly non-cultural web wide worlds moving towards the New
International and its massively multiplied Die culture or Dee culture.
Or in short:

DE-CULT will start as a word continuing through words where some will

form sentences branching off into visual explorations and musical not

so beaten but de-repeated constitutional tracks. Or in short:

A DETOUR from Thor mainly touring through destruction and island

detoxes. Or in short:

DEUTSCHLAND TOUR. Or as one would say in one word:

DEUTSCHTOUR. And an even shorter word:

DETOUR is an evening of poetical explorations with Icelandic poets and
artists from ÚTÚR which again is a detour from ÚTÚRDÚR. An additional
secret guest (who is unusually fit for his age) will crawl out of the
deep seas of Iceland's filmosphere.

ÚTÚR is a recently established artist group under the umbrella of

ÚTÚRDÚR, an independently run artist bookstore in Reykjavik. ÚTÚR was
established to serve the need for a co-operational platform for

artists, poets and anyone who is interested in alternative publishing

and literature events. The goal is simple - to further the margins.

The program will start at 22:00.

Doors open at 21:30.
